After almost two years of the Covid-19 epidemic, Bangladesh has shown some stability, but scientists have indicated that the disaster will last longer.
Although Covid vaccines and oral pills have already been discovered, it has already been proved that they are not 100 percent effective in preventing infection. That situation has also ended after a series of lockdowns around the world to prevent infection. So from the beginning, experts have been advising to wear masks to prevent infection, they are still emphasizing on that mask. They are advocating to continue normal activities by wearing masks and maintaining adequate precautions.
But there is more danger when the mask is worn incorrectly. This is about following the right rules in the use of masks. Doctors say that if you do not follow the right rules in the selection and use of masks, it will increase the risk of infecting a person.
How to wear a mask:
- Hands should be thoroughly sanitized before touching the mask and wearing it.
- The mask should be placed between the nose and mouth in such a way that no air can enter directly through any part of it. Only the filtered air is passed through the mask and that filtered air is breathed in.
- If you want to take off the mask after use, you must first disinfect your hands. Then, without touching the mask surface, only the handle or the string tied to the ear should be opened.
What should not be done:
- Surgical masks can no longer be worn after one use. After use, the user or the person engaged in his service will confirm the disposal of the mask.
- The mask used by one person cannot be used by another under any circumstances.
Keep in mind:
- Avoid touching the outside surface of the mask as much as possible.
- Avoid keeping the mask in the pocket or on the table for ease in talking.
- Anyone who is a COVID suspect or engaged in the care of a person with COVID must wear a mask.
- If someone has fever, cold and cough, she or he should wear a mask.
- Cloth masks with two or three layers can also be used to wash. But after every use, it should be washed with soap and water.
