Respiratory problems increase in winter. Respiratory system diseases like pneumonia, bronchiolitis, asthma etc. If the immune system is low, these diseases take root in the body.
Dr. Abid Hossain Molla shared the ways to solve the problem of the respiratory system in winter. Currently, he is working as the head of the pediatric department at Bardem Hospital. The interview was aired on the 3656th episode of NTV’s regular program Health Daily.
Question: What to do to prevent respiratory problems in winter?
Answer: If the doctor thinks that a person is born with low immunity, then a specialist doctor should be consulted to prevent infection. There he may need to be given prophylactic antibiotics for a long time. This is called the antibiotic profile axis. Along with this, anti-fungal should also be given. Because, if the immune system is low in the human body, then any kind of disease can build roots.
Number two is, that if a child comes in with recurrent pneumonia, if the tests show that they have a congenital abnormality in their lungs, they need to be treated.
If I say, a lung has a cyst, an abnormal formation, where all the lung secretions accumulate. During breathing, some germs enter the body, they settle there. It gradually infects all the lungs. So what can be the treatment?
It will not be treated only with medicine. Surgery should be performed by a surgeon. In this way, different cases should be diagnosed, its cause should be found out, and treatment should be given.
