What is diabetes?

Diabetes is a disease caused by lack of insulin hormone. In this disease, the body’s ability to use glucose (sugar) is lost or reduced. Glucose cannot enter cells. As a result, it stays in the blood.

Once diagnosed with diabetes, it never gets better; But it can be controlled. Diabetes is not a bad disease. So it is wise to control it without fearing it.

Why does diabetes occur?

Diabetes is a type of metabolic disorder. In this case, the body cannot produce and use enough insulin. In many cases, insulin is completely lost

After eating any food, our body breaks down the sugars in that food into sugar (glucose). A hormone called insulin, released from the pancreas, tells the body’s cells to take up sugar. This sugar acts as fuel or energy for the body.

Diabetes occurs when the body cannot produce insulin or it does not work properly. As a result, sugar starts to accumulate in the blood.
